曲げわっぱのお弁当箱

Magewappa bento box

Bent-wappa bento box. Magewappa Atelier E08 Nakazawa's work.

I enjoyed making lunches.
It looks delicious even if you put a normal side dish in it.

Magewappa Atelier E08's Magewappa is made from Japanese cedar trees that are over 150 years old, so it is a solid and thick board, and it is also a special uncoated wood (unpainted) *1.
The thickness of this board and the unvarnished wood have excellent humidity control effects, so rice and side dishes are preserved deliciously.

Once you start using Magewappa which makes food taste good and look good, you will never want to go back to a plastic bento box!

The lunch box is made of uncoated wood, so I was worried about oil stains. Then I placed been sprouts under the fried chicken to avoid oil stains. It turned out nice!

Also, I was worried that it would be difficult to care for, but since I
just wash it and leave it alone, I can continue to use it.
(I washed it at night and it was dry in the morning, but I didn't use it that day as Mr. Nakazawa  at Magewappa Atelier E08 advised me  to let it dry for a day.)

This picture is a bento box made of Koban Matsu (covered) .

*1 Magewappa is also coated with lacquer or urethane to make it easier to clean.
